I tossed and turned after waking up during the night. I wasn't sure of the time, but it was still dark. My thoughts drifted to different aspects of life, but eventually I must have fallen back into a deep sleep because before I knew it Diana was coming to join me in the recliner (where I have been sleeping better at this phase of pregnancy).
We laid side by side snuggling. Soon Alice was reaching out her hand to hold, and again, in silence we all woke up. The silence shifted to whispering, followed by going to the living room. Manuel had woken up just a little bit before. He left the computer to come sit with me on the love seat. Then Diana and Alice both piled on as well.
We sat and talked and enjoyed a quiet, Saturday morning.
