Fresh Air - #SLICE2013

I stood outside at the end of the day with two of my colleagues - about 20 minutes watching 6th and 7th graders play Bump and Capture the Flag. As soon as we got out there, I saw Diana's class running to line up and go back inside the building. Across the blacktop I could see Alice's class playing a game. Her team standing on the sidelines was jumping up and down cheering on their classmates. A little bit of fresh air was the perfect way to end the day. Other teachers must have had the same idea. Welcome spring! Though it is not the official first day yet, it feels like you are already here, and it feels so good!
